Technical Services- Field Support
Often projects require specialized skill sets and execution strategies that some typical engineering firms struggle to deliver, and we excel at. We can help develop and execute pre-commissioning efforts (planning-project management, etc. as needed). Validation, inspection, and commissioning (P&ID walk downs, full I/O checkout-commissioning, documentation, process control networks, etc.). And post project handoff (documentation, training, technical support/services as needed) is often an area that is forgotten or minimized. We understand in some situations a strong transition strategy is almost or more important than the initial engineering/construction effort.
Electrical Engineering Services
We offer plant/field power systems design and consulting services, whether the power is coming from the utility or internally within the customer’s system (medium/low voltage). We can help with traditional arch flash, plant wide UPS systems, to protective relaying and ground grid design. We excel at power quality applications (harmonic & transient mitigation, power factor correction, large motor starting, etc.). Our engineers have expertise in safety analysis and regulatory compliance as well. If you have a power issue in the process area, or from the main power grid to the plant/process area we can help.
To complement our control & engineering services, we expand that offering with expertise in industrial communications-network security. We design, construct, and maintain various networks (microwave backbones, private networks, SCADA/long range, field WIFI). As an example, we have considerable experience in measurement in the oil/gas industry. Derived from this experience is a standardized LACT unit product that is pre-tested, well documented, and drastically reduces field start-up costs and lowers the price of ongoing operational support. Also from an operations view, it provides more of a templated approach for LACT unit deployment to the end customer.
